Founded by Bob Ledford in the 1950s, Adventure Motor Homes has been proudly serving the Greenville and Asheville areas for over 70 years. Bob began his journey with a used car dealership in Asheville, NC, in 1950, but by 1975, he recognized an exciting opportunity in RV and marine sales. His passion for customer service and eye for a good deal became legendary, with many still remembering his famous "want to make a deal" commercials.



As a family-run and owned business spanning multiple generations, we’ve stayed true to our roots, we continue Bob’s legacy of delivering quality service and building lasting relationships with our customers and the community of Greer and Greenville.

Today, the business is led by David Ledford, who has been immersed in the RV industry nearly his entire life thanks to Bob’s vision. David has successfully navigated the business through the ups and downs of the RV industry, always staying true to the family’s commitment to customer care. Known for putting the customer first, David is often seen dropping whatever is in front of him to lend a hand and ensure every customer gets the attention they deserve.
